Jake has been in choir for a few years and has really enjoyed it. He has such a good voice. He was chosen by his choir teacher, Ms. Banfield, to be part of an honor choir that participated with other honor choirs from the district. There were 24 from Jake's school and many from the other schools so the total combined choir was a few hundred. They had their concert last night. They sounded amazing. Afterwards we went to Frogurt with a few of his friends, Olivia Nelson, Hazen Hancock, Ruth Davis, McKaley Clark, and Bella Casto.

I'm Back!!

After many years of being silent, I thought I would give this whole blog thing another try. I am at a place in my life where I think I can spend a little bit of time on this. Looking back at all the other entries, I was sad that I missed blogging about our lives. But the time was well spent. We are still a family with lots of love, laughter, and adventures. We're just older. Maybe not always wiser. So I will try to spend a few minutes at least once a week blogging about our lives. So to update what the kids look like I have a few pictures of them that I took today. At the top there is Booba, Ellie, and Phoebe. Next there is Meg, then Haley and then Jake with his good friends. They walked to McDonald's to buy a Big Mac at regular price and the second one for a penny. We have been very blessed by our Father in Heaven and try everyday to choose the right. More soon.

Haircuts for Phoebe and Booba

What do you do when your three year old cuts her hair and your two year old freaks out every time you get close to him with the buzzer? Well for awhile I did nothing and let them look like motherless children. But on the 24th enough was enough! (And plus I had a coupon!) We went to Cookie Cutters and Phoebe got the cutest Bob! The hair that she cut is now the length of the Bob so it worked out. Booba still didn't like it but the hairdresser persevered while I held his head still. And plus both of them did well with a little friendly bribery. It's called a balloon, a sucker, a video, a ride in a car. I think we'll be going there again.
